1. Peter Pan – Age – 15 -25 (Male) (Singer) – Peter Pan is the boy who refuses to grow up. He is brave and heroic but often childish and stubborn. He is innocent as he is childlike and does not understand responsibility and adult things. He is confident almost arrogant about how great an adventurer he is.

2. Nanny Mc Smee (Male/female) (Singer) – Smee’s Mother and a new recruit to the crew of the Jolly Roger. She is an over the top Scottish Nanny figure, not unlike Robin Williams in Mrs Doubtfire but a bit more confident and in your face.

3. Smee – (Male) – Smee in this production is an energetic funny young pirate. Very friendly and interactive with the audience and his mother. Comedy gold. He is Captain Hook’s first mate He should have good comedy timing and be able to play to the audience also.

4. Tiger Lily – (Female) – Tiger Lily is described as a beautiful princess of the “Whatsittoya” tribe. Tiger Lily is in fact a strong, loud, in your face type character. She is a very funny character. This actress must have great comedy timing and be able to interact well with the audience and will form part of a comedy treble with Smee and Nanny Mc Smee.

5. Captain James Hook – (Male) (Singer) – Hook is a vengeful pirate who lives only to kill Peter Pan! Hook is a well-educated English gentleman and despite being a pirate is obsessed with “good form” he is still temperamental and a bit childish at times. He is terrified of Crocodiles as one once ate his hand after Peter Pan had cut it off in a fight.

6. Tinker-Bell – (Female) (Singer) – Tinker-Bell is a fairy, she is pretty, preferably blonde by hair colour and by nature. She is “like so totally a fairy, ya?” American, a bit ditzy, very sarcastic and very obsessed with her image and looks.

7. The Fairy Catcher – (Male/Female) – A very evil and creepy character not unlike the Child Catcher in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Facial expressions and body language a huge part of creating this scary character. He/she is hired by Hook to capture Tinkerbell. Should make your skin crawl.

8. Wendy Darling – Age 20+ (Female) (Singer) – Wendy is a well raised English lady, she is very proper and polite and speaks with a well formed English accent. She is likeable but can be a tad childish and bossy. Wendy came to Neverland when she was a girl but choose to go back and grow up even though she loved adventure and Peter Pan. She is now a bit older and wiser, a mother figure and sensible head.

9. Gentleman Starkey (Male) – A very proper and pristine pirate he is also very camp. He is dressed immaculately.

10. Cecco – (Male) – Is an Italian pirate who speaks only Italian. He is very Italian with body language, facial expressions etc.

11. Cookson – (Female) – Cookson is a traditional pirate rough, gruff and temperamental. She is manlier than any of the pirates but is a woman.

12. Sea Orchid (A Mermaid) (Female)(Singer)

13. Ocean Blossom (A Mermaid) (Female) (Singer) – Mermaids, they are totally in trend modern girls. Slaves to their phones and all social media apps. They are friendly, trendy characters.

The Lost Boys – Age 10 – 16 (Male) & 30 Plus

In this production The Lost Boys go to London to bring Wendy back but when they leave Neverland they become The Lost Men. So children play the parts in Act 1 and Adults play the parts in Act 2.

14. Tootles – Is the leader of the lost boys he is the eldest and speaks most for the boys, he is childlike. He is brave and fun loving. As are all the boys.

16. Slightly – Is the shyest of the boys he is small, quiet and agreeable. He also loves fun and adventure but is usually tagging behind the others and a bit weary of danger.

18. Curly – Is the biggest and strongest of the boys. He is also the stupidest and answers most questions by hitting someone. He is wild and fun loving.

20. Nibs – Is the cleverest of the boys, well he thinks he is, he has an answer for everything most times getting it wrong. He is stubborn and childlike.

24. Twin 2 – John – The Twins are modelled on Irelands most famous twins one is called John the other Edward and they are a copy of the famous pair.
